Blizzard Entertainment opens new office in Makati, Philippines and will have new dedicated battle.net server based in Singapore for SEA, Australia, and New Zealand with fully localized customer service in preparation for the launch of Starcraft II: Wings of Liberty and eventually Diablo III. IAH Games will be handling the service and the server in line with their signing the distribution rights for Blizzard Products in their seven territories last May 25. Local games store Datablitz will be the official sole distributor of their games, and for World Of Warcraft players: cards.

Blizzard Entertainment makes a foothold in the Philippines through new satellite office of IAH Games. Fadzly Yusof, Managing Director for IAH Philippines said "This is the first time that a major gaming company has opened an office in the Philippines. Through this, Blizzard hopes to be closer to the local gamers who have been patronizing Blizzard Products and serve them better.”

In tune with this, Blizzard will be opening a battle.net server in Singapore that will serve the greater South East Asia region. This will serve the gamers in SEA, Australia, and New Zealand. With this battle.net server comes better latency for high-quality gameplay and access to fully localized customer service.
